I attempted to fill out a surrender form online and had difficulty getting past a particular point in order to submit the form. The form through their website on multiple occasions when trying to submit it, indicated that my name was already in the system and to contact the office directly for assistance, not sure why this would be. This message was "bolded in red" on their website for me to contact them to move forward. When explaining this to Libby in the surrender department, Libby made the statement "other people have had no issue filling out the form" and I would simply need to try again and all she could do is mark my name down and call if a spot opens up but that they typically "first contact people who submit the form online as the go from that list". I tried explaining again to Libby that the website said for me to contact the office as the form couldn't be submitted by me for whatever reason and what the message was saying. Libby had absolutely no interest in truly assisting or understanding the issue. Since I initially adopted from them and had a good first experience, I gave them a call since our circumstances have changed, to see if they could help. Now, I will be sure to inform anyone looking to contact the Animal Rescue League in Bedford to go elsewhere.
After suddenly losing our 14yo pitbull,I had to honor her loss by immediately taking one from another cage-
Not a pitbull this time but Zeus,a large dog that has been locked up for a couple months and was waiting for his forever home. Emily met with us and showed us Zeus- a large dog though not much larger than our pitbull had been, he was full of raw energy and it's what I needed-
My girl was a senior when she passed. She got to travel thousands of miles and hiked hundreds: one of the most respectfully and smartest friend's I ever got to love. She is missed huge.
Zeus, I cannot wait to bring you home and love you as long as you'll have us-
Thank you Emily.
PS
Here are some resent photos of our boy Zeus. It has been approx 8 months since we've brought him home; he's getting much better however there is certainly room for growth.
Thank you, again.
Participated in a yoga class with a bunny, a cat, and a puppy. Had the best time. Come adopt a cutie from this amazing rescue!
They were very professional and you didn't have to go through any disappointments. They knew exactly what to tell you and how to care for your adopt a pet. They spend a lot of time with you and it's not a rushed situation. I enjoyed our visit with our adopted pet. We adopted him and he is a wonderful
We adopted a great kitten. Sad to leave his brothers behind. However, we soon learned they were adopted together.
Came it to look into adopting a rabbit. The facility is very nice and it's clear the animals are well cared for with appropriate housing and their needs are met. The staff was friendly but also realistic when pairing us with potential adoptions. They were very patient as well. Eventually we did find the perfect rabbit for our family and the adoption process was smooth and quick - they even sent us home with some temporary housing for him while we put together what will be his permanent home with us. Great job!
Came in for 3 guinea pigs, left with them and 2 bunnies. Very nice and mannerly staff.
